and replace the file at /data/projects.json in your deployed site, then re-upload.

Download the merged data (base site + your local edits/additions) and swap it into the live site.
To publish for real: download the file above, replace
site/data/projects.json
in your project folder with it, then re-deploy (re-upload to Netlify/Vercel or wherever the site lives).
New photos you uploaded here are embedded directly in that JSON file, so they'll come along automatically.
